Your Account Level

Your Account Level caps your Fighter’s Rank and unlocks certain game features.

Increase your Account Level by earning Account XP.

When you first start playing you’ll earn it by completing nodes on Campaign maps.

Your Fighter’s Level

Increasing your Fighter’s Level raises their individual stats and their overall power. Increase their Level by using Training Items on them in My Camp or by Upgrading them in your Team screen.

Your Fighter’s Level is capped by their Rank.

Your Fighter’s Rank

Your Fighter’s Rank controls their Fighter Level range and which moves they have available in their kit. Increase their Rank using Rank Items—you can earn these in the Training Gym as well as in other areas of the game. You’ll see a red dot letting you know an upgrade is available on eligible Fighters whenever you earn enough Rank items to promote them. The higher the Fighter’s star rating, the more Ranks they have available.

To Rank up a Fighter:

  1. On the Home screen, tap Fighters.
  2. Choose the Fighter you want to Rank up.
  3. Tap Upgrade.
  4. Tap the Rank tab.
  5. Tap the Rank up items you want to use.
    • You may need multiple discipline and rank items to rank up a Fighter.
  6. Tap Rank Up.
    • There’s a Coin cost for ranking up, it’s listed on the Rank Up button. Make sure you have enough Coins to pay for it!

Star Rating

Think of your Fighter's Star Rating like career stages—having a higher Star Rating is like moving a Fighter through the ranks from rookie, to amateur, to pro, to potential Champion. As a Fighter moves up in the world, they learn new moves and tactics that deepen the way they fight.

More Stars also means more Ranks are available, so an increased Star Rating unlocks new abilities and passives, adding more potential to a Fighter.

Unlocking new abilities

You can unlock new abilities for your Fighters by:

  • Ranking them up.
  • Ranking up their Discipline.
  • Trading in duplicate versions of them to unlock and rank up their signature passive ability.

Recruiting new Fighters

Earn new Fighters across different weight classes and disciplines by completing Camp Recruitment events.

You can also get Fighters from Packs or as rewards from Events or Battlepass.

Training Events

As your Fighters grow in Level, Rank, and Power, you’ll find that you need specific items to rank up their discipline and unlock new abilities. These are found in Training Events which unlock once you’ve fully completed Chapter One of the Campaign. One Training Event is available each day. For example, you might complete an MMA training event to earn an MMA Rank item, and then use that to strengthen one of your MMA Fighters.

Completing a Level earns you a Rank Item and some coins. Just like in Campaign, you get more rewards if you complete all paths in the Level.

Synergy

  • When you’re building a team for Campaign, Raids or Events, don’t just look at raw power. Check each Fighter to see what kind of Synergy they can bring to a team.
  • Synergy is visible when you tap in to a Fighter’s Details screen:
  • Fighter Details for Kelvin Gastelum showing types of Synergy in My Camp.

  • Tap the i button beside Synergy to get a description of their Synergies.
    • Some Synergies apply to all Fighters, and some to specific types of Fighter.
  • When you’ve built a team, you can also see a Fighter’s Synergy on the Edit Team screen by selecting them and tapping the Synergy icon.

Campaign

  • If you upgrade a Fighter during or between Campaign Fight Cards, make sure to tap Update my team once you go back into the Fight Card so you can use your upgrades right away.
  • Completing all available paths in a Fight Card earns you additional rewards, so it’s always worth hitting 100% completion on a Fight Card.
  • Keep your Fighters leveled and ranked up—you need to have strong Fighters across all genders, disciplines, and weight classes.
  • Pay attention to your Fighter’s Fight Style. Each Fight style has advantages and disadvantages depending on the Fight Style of your opponent. The Fight Style wheel shows you how different disciplines, or Fight Styles, interact. You can see that Strikers are strong against Wrestlers, but vulnerable to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

General

  • Completing Quests and reaching Milestones gives you additional rewards. These are longer-term challenges with a nice payoff.
  • Duplicate Fighters don’t go to waste either. They’re used to unlock or upgrade the Fighter’s Special Passive ability, and can grant some additional rewards.
  • Don’t forget to claim your Daily Login Rewards, Victory Packs, and free Daily packs from the Vault.
  • If you’re full up on Training items, Rank items, Heals, or Revives, any you can’t claim right away go into overflow storage. Access this from the upgrade screen of any of your Fighters or from the Vault. Overflow items will expire if you don’t use them within 30 days.

Guilds and Raids

We’ve got in-depth articles for you on finding and joining a Guild, and on creating and managing a Guild.

Here are some general tips on being a good Guild member:

  • Completing your Daily Objectives every day when you’re in a Guild is very important. This is how you earn Raid Keys.
  • Choose your Raid team wisely, and don’t leave any empty slots.
  • Heals and Revives are there to be used—better to burn a Heal you’re not sure you’ll need going into a fight rather than having to use more heals or a Revive afterwards.
  • Strategy pays; chat with your Guild to decide which room to join and which path to take. That way you all maximize your chances of success.
