How to update The Sims 4 Base Game

To update The Sims 4 Base Game on PC

1. Launch the EA app, and make sure you’re logged in.
2. Open your Library and click on The Sims.
3. Click the Update button. This button will only show if there’s an update available.
4. Once the update is complete, the Play button will reappear as normal.

To update The Sims 4 Base Game on Mac

1. Launch Origin on your computer. If prompted, log in.
2. Open My Game Library and click on The Sims.
3. If an update is available, you’ll see a gray arrow in the bottom-left corner of the game tile. Right-click the game tile and choose Update.
