How to get help with an EA Account email address

If you can’t access the email account attached to your EA Account, get in touch with your email service provider (like Yahoo or Gmail) to see if you can recover it. Most providers let you recover your account by:- resetting your password
- answering security questions
- verifying your identity or alternative email address associated with that account.

You can try logging in to your EA Account using your linked platform account.If the account you sign in to is linked to an EA Account, you’ll be logged in on EA Help and you can view your account information.
- 1Go to the EA Account login page.
- 2Choose to log in with your PlayStation™Network account, Xbox Live account, Steam account, Apple ID, Facebook account, or Google account. Another pop-up will appear for the platform you choose.
- 3Log in using your sign-in details for that account.
If your platform account isn’t linked to your EA Account, you can:
- use your EA ID or phone number to log in to the EA app
- create a new EA Account and link to your console account if you’re a console-only player.
If you don’t have access to your email address or can’t log in using a connected account, we can try to recover your account. Get in touch with us.To help us recover your account as quickly as possible, have this info ready:
- the original email address on your EA Account
- any usernames that are linked to your EA Account, like your EA ID, Xbox Live Gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID
- any invoice numbers from games you’ve bought through an EA platform, like the EA app.
You might be able to verify your identity by signing in through a recognized device (one that you use often). Launch a game with online features and complete the steps to verify your identity using your recognized device. This step isn't available to everyone and may not appear every time.
EA games with online features include elements that require an internet connection to access or play. These features can range from multiplayer modes and live services to online progression tracking and in-game purchases.
How to log in to an EA game
To log in to an EA game, you’ll need your EA Account email and password. Here’s how to log in.- 1Open your game on your console.
- On desktop, open the EA app or Steam.
- If you play on Steam, you’ll need to link your accounts.
- 2When you’re asked to log in, enter your email and password.
Error message troubleshooting
Your email address may have been entered incorrectly or may not be associated with an EA Account. This error message can also show up if you’ve recently updated your email address. To help keep your account secure, we limit how often you can update your email address. You can only update your email address to a new one once every 30 days. Learn more about updating your account information.
If your EA login credentials have expired, try resetting your EA Account password. This helps in most cases. If that doesn’t work, wait 90 minutes and try again.

This error code happens when there’s a problem with the background service that runs the EA app. You can try fixing this by fully closing and reopening the EA app.
