How to link to an EA Account

Linking an EA Account to a platform, social, or authorized third-party account can unlock new experiences and make it easier to get help if needed.

EA Account linking on EA Help

You can only link your EA Account once to your chosen platform, streaming, or mobile account, so make sure to choose an account you’ll always have access to.
EA Help makes it easy to link accounts by logging in to an EA Account and inputting your platform credentials. EA Account settings page showing "Connected Accounts" with options to link PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Google, and more.If you’re already signed in, or you’re not sure if you’ve linked accounts, check the Connected Accounts page in your EA Account settings. Keep in mind that connected Nintendo Accounts won’t appear here. Underage EA Accounts can’t link to some streaming and social accounts. Learn more about age requirements.

    Log in to your EA Account.

    Go to Connected Accounts.

    Select Amazon Prime Gaming.
  4. 4
    Select Continue to sign in to Amazon and complete the steps to link your account. 
Linking your EA Account to Amazon Luna?

    Log in to Amazon Luna by logging in with your Amazon account info.

    Select any EA title.
  3. 3
    Log in with your EA Account. 
    • If you don’t have an EA Account, you’ll need to create one.

    Follow the on-screen instructions to link your Amazon Luna and EA Account.

    Log in to your EA Account.

    Go to Connected Accounts.

    Select Facebook.
  4. 4
    Select Continue to sign in to Facebook and complete the steps to link your account. 

How to link an EA Account on Xbox, PlayStation®, or Switch

If you made your EA Account using the same email address you use for your console account, your accounts should automatically connect when your game loads on your console.

    Open your EA game on your Xbox, PlayStation®, or Switch console.
  2. 2
    Log in with your primary EA Account. 
You'll be asked to verify with a one-time code sent to the email address associated with your EA Account. When prompted, check your email for the code and enter it into your console’s login screen.

Sub-accounts

Sub-accounts, like child accounts or other limited accounts, that share Xbox or PlayStation® subscriptions can’t connect to EA Accounts to play online.Watch our video for How to link to PlayStation®.

How to link an EA Account to streaming platforms

Link your EA Account to your preferred streaming platform to share your gaming experiences with your audience and watch select live streams for an opportunity to unlock in-game rewards.

    Log in to your EA Account.

    Go to Connected Accounts.
  3. 3
    Select Twitch. 
  4. 4
    Select Continue to sign in to your Twitch account and complete the steps to link your account.

How to claim Twitch Drops Make sure you’ve linked the right Twitch account to your EA Account and that you followed Twitch’s steps for claiming Drops.If you can’t find your rewards, make sure you meet the criteria for the Twitch Drop. Some streams may enter you in a draw for a Drop, but that doesn’t guarantee you’ll get rewards.

You only need to link your accounts the first time you play an EA game on Steam. Before linking your accounts, install the EA app if you haven’t already.

    Log in to your EA Account.

    Go to Connected Accounts.

    Select Steam.
  4. 4
    Select Continue to sign in to Steam and complete the steps to link your account.
Steam will install your game and let you know when it’s ready to play.

    Go to the Connected Apps page in YouTube Settings.

    Select Connect next to Electronic Arts.
  3. 3
    You’ll be asked if you want to allow Electronic Arts to connect accounts. To continue, select Connect.

    Confirm your EA Account. If it’s not the right account, select Not your account? to switch to the right one.

    Select Continue. If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you’ll be asked to verify your identity.

    Select Link Accounts.

    Select Return to YouTube.

How to get YouTube rewards

    Once you’ve linked your EA Account to YouTube, open a YouTube reward-enabled stream.
  2. 2
    Watch the stream for the required time advertised for the reward. 
  3. 3
    Log in to your game to find your rewards.

You’ll only be asked to link your accounts the first time you play an EA game on Epic Games. Before linking your accounts, install the EA app if you haven’t already.

    Log in to your Epic Games account.
  2. 2
    Go to your Library, choose your EA game, and click Install.
  3. 3
    The EA app will launch and ask you to link your Epic Games account and your EA Account.
  4. 4
    Log in to the EA app with your EA Account.
Epic Games will install your game and let you know when it’s ready to play.

Linking your EA Account with Discord through the EA app adds Rich Presence, a more detailed view of your in-game activity to your friends on Discord, including:
  • Current status (if you’re waiting in a lobby or currently playing)
  • Game mode details
  • Party size
  • EA membership status (EA Play or EA Play Pro). 
Before linking your accounts, install the EA app if you haven’t already.

    Open the EA app.

    Go to Settings.

    Go to Connected Accounts and select Connect next to Discord.
  4. 4
    Log in with your Discord account, and Authorize your account. 
  5. 5
    In the confirmation window, select Link accounts.
  6. 6
    Log in to the EA app with your EA Account.
  7. 7
    If the account connection is successful, you’ll see your Discord username with a green checkmark next to it. To unlink your accounts at any time, click the Disconnect button.

Recover or unlink an old or expired EA Account

Make sure you understand the risks of unlinking an old or expired EA Account before you relink your Steam account or console to a new EA Account.

    Start your game.

    Select Recover my account if you know your previous login details.
  3. 3
    Enter your details and proceed with the recovery process.
