What is an audible?
An audible lets you change to a different play before the ball is snapped. If the defense lines up differently than you expected, you can switch to another play that better fits what you're seeing on the field.Choosing the right audible can put your offense in a better position before the play begins.How do I call an audible?

- 1Open the Audible menu.
- 2Choose the play audible you want for your formation.
- To open the Audibles menu:
- Press Square.
- To choose an audible:
- Press Square, Triangle, L1, or R1.
- To reset the play:
- Press L2.
- To flip the play:
- Press R2.
- To close the Audible menu:
- Press R3.
- To open the Audibles menu:
- Press X.
- To choose an audible:
- Press X, Y, LB, or RB.
- To reset the play:
- Press LT.
- To flip the play:
- Press RT.
- To close the Audible menu:
- Press RS.
- To open the Audibles menu:
- Press Q.
- To choose an audible:
- Press 1, 2, 3, or 4.
- To reset the play:
- Press R.
- To flip the play:
- Press F.
- To close the Audible menu:
- Press Tab.
How do I change an audible?
You can change an audible by replacing your current play with any other available play for your current formation.- 1Open the Audible menu.
- If you’re playing on PlayStation®, press Square.
- If you’re playing on Xbox, press X.
- If you’re playing on PC, press Q.
- 2Select the play you want to replace.
- 3Choose the new play you want to replace it with.
How do I audible to a different formation?
You can also audible to a different formation, as long as both formations use the same player personnel.- 1Open the Audible menu.
- If you’re playing on PlayStation®, press Square.
- If you’re playing on Xbox, press X.
- If you’re playing on PC, press Q.
- 2Cycle through available formations and select one.
- Left/Right on the D-Pad on PlayStation® and Xbox
- Left/Right arrow keys on PC
- 3Select a play from your new formation to replace an existing play.
You can only audible to formations that use the same combination of players. on the field.For example, if you're in a formation with three wide receivers, you can only switch to a formation that also uses three wide receivers.
