As one of Madden NFL’s most strategic and immersive game modes, Franchise lets you run and manage an entire NFL team. Whether you’re rebuilding a roster or chasing a dynasty, you’ll manage all aspects of your team’s success.Here’s what you can expect.- Feel like a real NFL coach by controlling team strategy, depth charts, and game plans.

What’s Persona DNA?
Every player has a unique Persona DNA that determines their mindset, behaviour, and career focus. Players will react differently to their situations, including negotiations, depending on their DNA. They can also earn temporary Persona DNA which changes their existing behaviour. With over 65 different types of DNA, players have more agency to question your decisions and respond uniquely. Here are some actions players might take.
If a player feels undervalued, underpaid, or unhappy, they can choose not to participate. Factors like their Persona DNA, contract status, team success, and mindset can all influence this decision.
If your relationship with a player deteriorates, they can demand a trade. When this happens, it hits the news, and other teams can make an offer. Players across the league can also demand trades.
Talking with players can help you manage and repair your relationships. Conversations can help you persuade players and change the outcome for your team.

News is influenced by players’ Persona DNA, meaning it’s grounded in each player’s mindset and changes as they do.A news ticker runs across every screen, letting you know what’s happening. You’ll be notified of breaking news, or you can select the News Center at any time to see what’s going on.

- Development depends on how rookies are used after being drafted.
The offseason gives you a chance to sign free agents and make new offers. Players have different tags that mark their availability or set different restrictions. For example:
- the Exclusive Franchise Tag locks a player to your team
- the Non-Executive Franchise Tag lets other teams make an offer, but gives you two first-round picks in return
- multiple Restricted Free Agent (RFA) tags let players negotiate with other teams, but let you match those offers or have first right of refusal
- the Transition Tag lets you match any offer.
- Manage your Head Coach, Offensive/Defensive Coordinators, and Trainer.
- Coaching staff includes real NFL coordinators.
