How to clear your cache
Clearing your cache can’t fix problems like game outages or servers going down, but it can help fix common issues like:If clearing your cache doesn’t solve your issue, check your server status.
- the EA app being stuck in offline mode or not updating itself
- games not downloading
- game downloads or updates being stuck on a certain percentage or on “Waiting for download”
- games that seem to be “missing” from your EA app Library.
If you can’t open the EA app, use the Windows 10 and 11 steps instead to clear your cache.
- 1Go to the EA app menu.
- 1On Windows, select the three dashes in the far-left corner of the EA app.
- 2On macOS, select Help at the top of the screen, then choose App Recovery.
- 2Scroll to Help.
- 3Select App recovery.
- 4Select Clear cache.
- 1Open the Start menu.
- 2Open All Apps.
- 3Find the EA folder and click the downward arrow to expand.
- 4Select App Recovery.
- 5A confirmation window will pop up.
- 6Select Clear Cache.
