Your Sims can choose different Stories and Hobbies. Hobbies include Cooking, Guitar, Writing, and more!

The more you play, the more Hobbies you’ll unlock for your Sim.

1. Tap the Info Panel icon. It's the outline of a person with a Plumbob.



2. Tap Hobby and then Buy.
3. Tap View Hobbies.
4. Pick a Hobby and tap Place.

To start a Hobby Story, your Sim will need a Hobby item. So for the Cooking Hobby they’ll need the stove, for Guitar they’ll need a guitar, and so on.

Here’s how to get them those items:

1. Tap the Build/Buy icon.
2. Tap the Buy tab — it has an armchair icon.
3. Tap the Hobbies category in the first window of the Collections tab.
   
4. Tap the Hobby you need the gear for.
5. Drag an item into your home to buy it.
6. Tap the green checkmark icon to complete your purchase.

Complete Hobby Events to get promoted and earn those much needed Simoleons.

1. Tap your Sim’s Hobby item.
2. Tap the Hobby Event you want to start.
3. Do Event actions to fill up the meter.

As your Sim improves in their Hobby, they’ll unlock new Hobby Event options and actions.

Your rewards can also change based on how risky the action is. The riskier an action is, the better the reward if your Sim is successful.

Normal event actions will naturally raise your Sim’s confidence. As they gain confidence during an event, the risky actions will start to pop up.

If your Sim succeeds, congratulations! They’ll get not only the higher reward, but they’ll also gain confidence.

If they fumble and fail, well, they won’t get as good of a reward and their confidence will decrease. Better luck next time!

• Buy new Hobby items to unlock new actions! Just tap the Buy/Build icon, go to the Buy tab, and tap the Hobbies category.
• Make sure your Energy is full before you start.
  • Is your Sim low on Energy? Run home to take a power nap or use the bathroom.
• Use a Cupcake to refill your Energy all the way up so you can keep playing sooner.
