Don’t hack other players’ accounts

Accessing another player’s account, including account sharing, is against the rules.

Don’t buy Coins

You can earn UFC Coins by participating in online matches and buying and selling cards, but buying Coins from a third-party is against our rules.

Here are a few ways to earn Coins legitimately:

  • play and win matches
  • complete solo challenges
  • buy and sell Items.

Why is buying Coins against the rules?

  • Buying or selling Coins creates an uneven playing field because, among other things, it can result in an unfair increase in prices of Items on the Transfer Market. This can take away the opportunity to buy affordable Items on the Transfer Market from players who earned their Coins legitimately.
  • Using the Transfer Market for the purpose of transferring Coins can put your account at risk.
  • If you buy Coins, you’re at risk for having your account information stolen by phishers. Some Coin sellers need account login information to give out Coins, so they can just as easily remove players and Coins from your account, too. Sharing your account information is not only a violation of our rules, but also Coin sellers often make a profit off of the Items they steal and hack someone else. Help keep your account safe and don’t give your login information to anyone, especially not to buy Coins.
  • Buying “mule” accounts or performing comfort trades is not allowed because they negatively impact the game economy.
  • Using the Transfer Market for Coin Distribution (including Coin buying) negatively impacts the experience for other players. If you’re using the Transfer Market to distribute Coins, we may limit or reduce your access to the Transfer Market both via the Companion App and from your console or PC.

Don’t farm Coins

Coin farming is when you try to get Coins fast and illegitimately. This includes using bots or tricking the game into thinking you’re playing matches when you aren’t.

You can store as many Coins in your account as you like, as long as you’re earning those Coins the right way in the game. Using any sort of bot or disconnection methods the game is against our rules.

Don’t distribute or sell accounts

Account selling and distribution inflates the UFC economy. That means disrupting the safe buying and selling environment that legitimate players are trying to use to get the players they need for their Ultimate Team.

Don’t promote account buying and selling

Promoting the sale or purchase of Coins anywhere within our games or forums breaks our rules.

Don’t make false claims

Making a false claim to EA Advisors or any other EA representative is against our rules.

Don’t cheat

Cheating can include, but isn’t limited to, using external tools, performing in-game exploits, abusing glitches or bugs, performing, using, buying, or selling match collusion, matchmaking manipulation, or win manipulation services.

Cheating inside or outside the game is not fair play and hurts the experience for the players you are playing against.

We have our rules in place because we want UFC to be the best that it can be for all players.

If you break our rules, we can:

  • wipe your UFC Coins
  • remove your account from UFC leaderboards
  • remove your rewards
  • limit or remove your eligibility for competitive gaming
  • suspend your console from playing UFC online modes for a period of time, or forever
  • ban you from your current UFC game
  • ban you from all UFC games
  • ban you from all EA games.

Think you were banned or suspended by mistake? Read our article to find out how to get in touch with us.

We want to help our players as efficiently as we can, so please only contact us with genuine challenges. If you think we made a mistake with a ban or suspension, contact us using the available method so we can review your account.

Before you contact us, know that the Rules of Conduct in our User Agreement expect that players don’t:

  • improperly use in-game support or complaint buttons
  • make false reports to EA staff.
