To comply with the Digital ECA Law, EA is updating certain features and services for players in Brazil. These updates are currently rolling out. If you play Apex Legends in Brazil, certain features may be affected.

How Brazil’s ECA Law affects Apex Legends

Brazil’s ECA Law requires extra protections for children and teens when using online services. If you're located in Brazil, some online features may be limited. Players may be asked to log in or create an EA account to confirm their age for access to these features. 

What features are affected?

Players in Brazil won’t have access to: 
  • Apex Packs for Apex Coins
  • Apex Packs in the Premium Battle Pass 
    • will have access to Crafting Metals instead
  • Ultimate and Ultimate+ Battle Passes
Players under 18 also can’t access voice and text chat.We’re engaging with Brazilian authorities on the technical aspects of compliance with the law. We’ll update this page as changes are confirmed and implemented, so you can stay informed without needing to contact support.
