Bought EA SPORTS FC™ 27 on PlayStation®4 or XBOX One? With Dual Entitlement, you can upgrade to the PlayStation®5 or XBOX Series X|S version at no extra cost. Learn what’s included, which features are available on each console generation, and what happens to your progress when you upgrade.

What is Dual Entitlement?

If you buy EA SPORTS FC™ 27 on PlayStation®4 or XBOX One, Dual Entitlement lets you upgrade to the current-generation version at no extra  cost.That means you can upgrade:
  • PlayStation®4 → PlayStation®5
  • XBOX One → XBOX Series X|S.
Once you’ve upgraded, you’ll own both versions of the game and can download either version on your compatible console.Heads up: if you own a physical PlayStation®4 or XBOX One copy of the game, you'll need a PlayStation®5 or XBOX Series X|S console with a disc drive to upgrade using Dual Entitlement.
Dual Entitlement only works with the same console family. You can’t upgrade from PlayStation®4 to XBOX Series X|S, or from XBOX One to PlayStation®5.

What features and modes are available on each generation?

Some EA SPORTS FC™ 27 features are only available on current-generation platforms.

All console generations

Players on both Gen 4 and Gen 5 console generations can enjoy core game modes, including:
  • Career Mode
  • EA SPORTS FC™ Ultimate Team™
  • Kick-Off
  • Online Seasons.

Only available on current-generation platforms

The following content is only available on:
  • PlayStation®5
  • XBOX Series X|S
  • PC
  • Nintendo Switch 2.
This includes:
  • The Grounds
  • gameplay improvements built for current-generation hardware.
