What’s Friend's Pass in It Takes Two?
Friend's Pass lets you play It Takes Two with a friend who doesn’t own the full game.The invitation to play for free must be sent by the player who owns the full version of the game. It can be sent from the game’s main menu.You can play The First Chapter of the game for free (locally or online) even if none of the players owns the game. To continue past the First Chapter, one player needs a full version of the game. The Friend's Pass can be downloaded from a digital store:- Nintendo eShop

- EA App.

Both players need a Nintendo Switch™ Online/PS Plus/Xbox Live Gold subscription to play together online.
Does It Takes Two support cross-play?
It Takes Two doesn’t support cross-play, but you can still play with a friend using Friend’s Pass.Playing co-op on Nintendo Switch™
- A Nintendo Online subscription is needed to play online.
- You can only invite a friend with a Switch for online play.
- To play couch co-op, each player will need a pair of Joy-Cons or a Switch Pro Controller.
- Connect your console to your friend’s console to play in a local wireless mode.
Issues playing offline on Xbox Series X
If your Xbox Series X is offline, the Friend’s Pass version of the game will load instead of the full game. You might also get an error that you can’t play offline.To get around this, start the game while you’re online. You can then disconnect, but this workaround will only work for a limited period of time. You may need to do this again if the Friend’s Pass boots instead of the full game.Having trouble after getting a physical copy for Xbox?
If you download and play the Friend's Pass and then decide to buy a physical copy of It Takes Two on Xbox, the Friend's Pass version will launch even if you have the disc installed.To fix this, restart your console or turn it off and on again with the disc still in it. You'll then be able to play the full game.Keep in mind: If you remove your disc and play the Friend's Pass version of the game, this issue will happen again. You can use the same workaround to fix it.
