How to report a Club or player in EA SPORTS NHL®

Learn how to keep yourself and other players safe in EA SPORTS NHL® by reporting inappropriate content, and how to mute or block other players.

How do I report content in World of CHEL?

If you notice a Club, Skater, or Goalie name that’s inappropriate or breaks the rules, here’s how to report it.

    From the main NHL® menu, select Online and choose World of CHEL.

    Select Stats from the top bar menu, then Club Rank.
  3. 3
    Choose Global Rankings.
  4. 4
    Find and select the Club name you want to report. Then, select Report Content.
  5. 5
    Select Inappropriate Content and choose Submit.

How do I report content in Connected Franchise?

    From the League HUB, go to Leagues Options.
  2. 2
    Select Report Content.
  3. 3
    Choose the type of content you want to report.
  4. 4
    Select the League, team, or player name.
  5. 5
    Choose the reason for your report.
  6. 6
    Submit your report.

What happens after reporting

Reporting a Club or player doesn’t mean they’ll automatically be banned from NHL. If you submit a report, we’ll investigate and take action according to our policies. For privacy reasons, we can’t give you information about our investigation or what actions we take on another player’s account.

How do I block and mute a player?

If another player is bothering you or affecting your experience, but their behavior doesn’t break the rules, you can block and mute them instead.

    From the main NHL® menu, select Online and choose World of CHEL.

    Select Stats from the top bar menu, then Player Stats.
  3. 3
    Find and select the player you want to block and mute. 
  4. 4
    Select Block and Mute. On the next screen, confirm your choice by selecting Block and Mute again.
