What’s cross-play?
Cross-play lets you play Skate with friends on other platforms. For example, if you play on PC but your friend plays on Xbox, you can still play together.Cross-play works on these platforms.- PC (EA app, Epic Games Store, Steam)
- PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5
- Xbox One and Xbox X|S
How to use cross-play in skate.
Cross-play is turned on automatically in Skate. To use it, you just need to add your friends to your in-game friends list.If you play on Xbox, your cross-play settings are determined by your platform settings. Learn more about cross-play on Xbox.
How to add friends in skate.
- 1Go to the Social & Spectate menu.
- You can find it in the Main Menu in the Hub tab.
- 2Select Search.
- 3Type in your friend’s username or ID.
- 4Choose your friend’s username or ID, then select Add EA Friend.
- 5Your friend can then accept your request from their game.
You can also see friend requests in the Requests tab of the Social & Spectate menu.
How to turn off cross-play
PC
PlayStation®
Xbox
- 1Open the Main Menu or Map.
- 2Press X.
- 3Select General.
- 4Scroll to Cross-Play.
- 5Toggle it to Disabled.
Change your requests settings
You can change who can send you requests or invites.- 1Go to the Social & Spectate menu.
- 2Choose the Settings tab.
- 3Select Allow Party Invites or Allow Friend Requests and toggle it to your preferred setting.
- 4You can choose Everyone, Friends Only, or No One.
