How to subscribe to SW:TOR

Subscription plans

There are two ways to pay for a subscription in SW:TOR.
  • A recurring subscription that renews automatically every 30, 60, 90, or 180 days.
  • A fixed period that doesn’t renew automatically.

Setting up your subscription

    Go to swtor.com and log in to your account.

    Navigate to the Overview section.
  3. 3
    In the Subscriptions tab, choose your preferred plan.
  4. 4
    Select Buy and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your payment.

How to manage your subscription

    Go to swtor.com and log in to your account.

    In the Subscriptions tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Cancel your subscription.

    Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.
  4. 4
    Canceling your subscription will end your recurring subscription, and you won’t be charged again at the start of the next billing cycle. You can still play as a subscriber until the end of your current billing cycle, even if you’ve canceled your subscription.

    Go to swtor.com and log in to your account.

    In the Subscriptions tab, choose the plan you want and select Buy.

    Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the change.

    If you switch to a different plan, your new plan starts when your previous plan runs out.

    In the Subscriptions tab, you can view information about the remaining prepaid time on your account, and the subscription type you have chosen (if you have a recurring subscription).

    Click on  View Your Payment History to see all payments that have been made on your account.

    In the Overview tab, scroll down to the Subscriptions & Cartel Coins section.

    Select View Your Payment History.

    Select Add a new credit card or Add a new PayPal account.
  5. 5
    Follow the on-screen prompts to add your payment information.

  • If you choose a recurring subscription, your payment method will automatically be charged at the end of your billing cycle:
    • Monthly - every 30 days
    • Quarterly - every 90 days
    • Six-month - every 180 days
  • If you choose the 60-day Game Time subscription, this subscription won’t renew automatically. You'll have to manually add a new card when your playtime expires.

What are Subscriber rewards?

Subscribing to SW:TOR gives you rewards, including Cartel Coins and exclusive in-game items. When you subscribe, you automatically get:
  • permanent access to all previous expansions and all content released up to and including your subscription period
  • full access to all aspects of the game for the duration of your subscription, with Preferred access afterward
  • complimentary Cartel Coins each month while you’re subscribed
  • access to Subscriber-only rewards in Galactic Seasons.

Cartel Coin rewards

You’ll get Cartel Coins close to the start of each billing cycle. Allow for a few extra days for coins to appear. 
  • 30 Days recurring - 500 coins per 30 days
  • 90 Days recurring - 550 coins per 30 days
  • 180 Days recurring - 600 coins per 30 days
  • 60 Days Game Time Card : 525 coins per 30 days. Coins are granted 30 days apart.

Unique Subscriber rewards for long-term subscribers

These special rewards are given to players who have maintained their subscription for a long time, like ten years, or who have been subscribed during certain periods.
