Having trouble linking your EA Account to your Epic Games account? Check out the steps below for some troubleshooting tips.

You can only link one Epic Games account to an EA account, so make sure you choose the right EA Account to link to.

Reminder: Underage EA Accounts can’t link to Epic Games accounts. Learn more about age requirements here.

You’ll only be asked to link your accounts the first time you play an EA game on Epic Games.

  1. Install the EA app if you haven’t already.
  2. Sign in to your Epic Games account.
  3. Go to your Library, choose your EA game, and click Install.
  4. The EA app will launch and ask you to link your Epic Games account and your EA Account.
  5. Log in to the EA app using your EA Account info, or create a new EA Account.
  6. Epic Games will install your game and let you know when it’s ready to play.

You can unlink your Epic Games account from your EA Account to link it to a different EA Account. The new EA Account you link to can't have been linked to an Epic Games account before.

Once your accounts are linked, you can't unlink your Epic Games account again for another six months.

Make sure you understand the risks of unlinking your accounts before you follow our steps.

  1. Go to your Connected Accounts in your EA Account settings. You may need to log in.
  2. Find Epic Games and click Unlink.
  3. You’ll get a code to verify your identity. Enter the code and select Submit.
  4. Read the disclaimer and make sure you want to unlink.
  5. Check the box next to I understand and wish to continue.
  6. Click Unlink.
