Having trouble linking your EA Account to your Epic Games account? Check out the steps below for some troubleshooting tips.
You can only link one Epic Games account to one EA Account, so make sure you choose the right one to link to.
You’ll only be asked to link your account the first time you play an EA game on Epic Games.
Underage EA Accounts can’t link to Epic Games accounts.
Underage or child Epic Games accounts can only be linked to of-age EA Accounts. Learn more about age requirements.
- Install the EA app if you haven’t already.
- Sign in to your Epic Games account.
- Go to your Library, choose your EA game, and click Install.
- The EA app will launch and ask you to link your Epic Games account and your EA Account.
- Log in to the EA app using your EA Account info, or create a new EA Account.
- Epic Games will install your game and let you know when it’s ready to play.
If you unlink your Epic Games account from your EA Account and link it to a new EA Account that you own, you won’t be able to unlink it again for six months. Before following these steps, understand the risks of unlinking to make sure it’s the best choice for you.
- Go to the EA Account settings portal.
- Click on Connections.
- Find the account you want to unlink, and click the Unlink button next to it.
- You’ll get a code to verify your identity. Enter the code and select Submit.
- Read the disclaimer and make sure you want to unlink.
- Check the box next to I understand and wish to continue.
- Click Unlink.
