Xbox Game Pass is a subscription program for Xbox and PC that gives you access to play over 100 games. There are a few different types of Xbox Game Pass memberships.

• Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is for both Xbox and PC, and it includes EA Play for both platforms.
• Xbox Game Pass for PC is for PC games, and it includes EA Play for PC.

How does Game Pass work with EA Play?

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10 via the EA app. Xbox Game Pass for PC members have EA Play for PC on Windows 10 via the EA app.

Are you a Game Pass Ultimate member playing on Windows 10 for the first time? You need to connect your Xbox console account and your PC to access EA Play. To do that, launch a game from The Play List via the Xbox app on PC. Now, you'll be able to use the EA app in the future.

Do I get a discount on EA digital content?

Yes! Your Xbox Game Pass subscription gives you a full EA Play membership, which includes 10% off of full games, DLC, and more. 

Game Pass Ultimate members can use their discount in the Microsoft Store or the EA app Store, while Game Pass for PC members can only use their discount in the EA app Store. 

Additional Xbox Game Pass member discounts don't apply to EA digital content.

Does Game Pass work with EA Play Pro?

EA Play Pro is a membership for PC only, which is sold separately.

EA Play for Xbox members who join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have their EA Play membership on Xbox automatically canceled, and any remaining time will be rounded up and converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:1. That means if you have 90 days left on your EA Play for Xbox membership, it’ll convert to 30 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

What if I already have Game Pass, but I bought EA Play for PC separately from the EA app Store?

Your EA Play for PC membership won't be automatically canceled, and any time left on your EA Play membership won't be converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC time.

You can manage your EA Play for PC membership, including cancellation, in the EA Account Settings portal.
