Cross-progression lets you access your game progress on different platforms. For example, you could play the same save file of a game on an Xbox and a PlayStation®.
Some games only offer cross-progression for certain game modes, or may only let you transfer progress across console generations. For example, you might only be able to transfer progress from a PlayStation®4 to a PlayStation®5.
You might know cross-progression by a different name, or might know similar terms like:
If your game has cross-progression, you’ll automatically be able to use it. You don’t need to do anything to be able to use cross-progression.
