What’s new in Apex Legends: Marked?

Marked, the newest Season of Apex Legends, launches on August 4, 2026. Read the patch notes for the latest info.

Bloodhound rework
Trust your senses and prepare for the fight. Bloodhound enters this Season with updated abilities and a new ultimate. 
  • Bloodhound’s passive now shows enemy footsteps. You can also activate white ravens to track enemy locations. 
  • Tactical tweaks: your full body scan lasts for three seconds, and when it finishes, you create four snapshot scans.
  • New ultimate (Allfather’s Cloak): throw down a device that cloaks anyone within range, making them invisible while moving slowly. 
    • Cloak invisibility lasts up to twelve seconds after leaving the area, or ends when you take damage or fire your weapon. 

Loba and Rampart updates

Loba and Rampart have also been updated this Season. Loba 
  • Her ultimate cooldown now lasts 30 seconds. 
  • 6 blue EVO Caches spawn when you place Loba’s ultimate. 
    • They won’t spawn if your team already has full EVO points. 
    • Caches despawn when the staff despawns. 
  • Loba’s tactical also has increased projectile speed and gravity and is faster to use. 
Rampart
  • Rampart’s passive and ultimate give you an extra 50% locked hop up progress. 
  • Increased movement speed while firing or spinning Sheila. 
  • Her tactical has faster wall build up, increased base wall health, and increased shield health.

World’s Edge POI changes 

Three new POIs are available in World’s Edge from Season 30.
  • East Village replaces Climatizer. Head here for movement-heavy gameplay.
  • War Camp replaces Survey Camp. It’s a good landing spot for grabbing loot. 
  • Tree Settlement replaces The Tree. It’s easier to navigate and another good looting spot.
Four existing POIs have also been upgraded or changed. 
  • Big Maude has been relocated, replacing Landslide. 
  • Stacks has been restored—get your ziplines ready. 
  • Sorting Factory has been restored, replacing Lava Siphon.
  • Stacks City replaces Big Maude and has been expanded.

Ammo and loot changes

Some of the loot you’ll see in Core matches has changed this Season.
Mythic and Gold binsRemoved.
Support and Assault binsRemoved.
Loot from WildlifeOnly drop healing and ammo.
CrafterMedkits and batteries spawn two.
HotzoneRemoved.
ArsenalsMax two per POI. Upgrade panels upgrade by one tier only (max purple).
Gold attachmentsRemoved.
Energy ammo has also been changed in Wildcard and Core modes. 
  • Energy weapons come with a stockpile of ammo which regenerates over time. 
  • You no longer need ammo bricks.

Corrupted attachments

Corrupted attachments are a new attachment you can add to weapons. They’re powerful, but come with drawbacks.Corrupted attachments include: 
  • Headseeker Barrel 
  • Tactical Laser
  • Overflowing Magazine
  • Agile Standard Stock
  • Rapid Sniper Stock.
You can only add one corrupted attachment at a time to a gun.

What are Seasons in Apex Legends?

Seasons are a set period of time when Apex Legends releases new content. Each Season has new content, including Battle Passes for each Split, game-balance changes, and cosmetic items. They can also introduce new features, map changes, weapons, and Legends. 

How long is an Apex Legends Season?

A Season is about three months long and coincides with Ranked play
