  • Rivals
  • Squad Battles.
Higher Rivals Divisions let you earn CQP faster, but every Rivals Division counts towards your Champions qualification.

Do I need to reach Division 6 to qualify for Champions?

No. In EA SPORTS FC™, there’s no Division 6 requirement for Champions qualification.Earn enough CQP through Rivals or Squad Battles to qualify.

Champions rewards can include Ultimate Team™ Coins, Champions Qualification Points, and Champions Tokens. Check your competition progress in-game to see the rewards available for your current Champions event.

What are Champions Tokens?

Champions Tokens let you choose which rewards you earn for your Club. They can be used for different reward options in the Champions Token Store.

What can I get from the Champions Token Store?

Available Champions-specific rewards can include:
  • Special Player Items with the exclusive Red Item design
  • Evolutions
  • Packs
  • Player Picks
  • vanity rewards, including Celebrations.
Check the Champions Token Store in-game for the available rewards and their Token costs:

How does Champions matchmaking work?

How does matchmaking work in Champions?

Matchmaking considers:
  • your location, which helps determine the EA SPORTS FC™ Game Data Center used for the match
  • your current Form
  • your platform and cross-play settings.

What is Form?

Your Form represents your results during your current Champions competition.For example, if your first five results are W/L/L/W/W:
  • you start at 0
  • each win adds 1
  • each loss subtracts 1
  • after those five matches, your Form is +1.

Can I matchmake with players on other platforms?

You can matchmake with players on other platforms if you have cross-play enabled. You can only play against people on the same platform generation, like:
  • PlayStation®4 and XBOX One
  • PlayStation®5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC.
Heads up: cross-play doesn’t apply to Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™ 2. 

How do I find my Champions rewards?

Check your Champions competition progress in-game to see the rewards available and your progress toward earning them.Champions rewards in EA SPORTS FC™ also help you work toward another Champions entry, as they can include Champions Qualification Points.
