Cross Progression lets you share your game progress across PC, PlayStation®, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch™. With Cross Progression, you can access your Apex Legends account, progress, and cosmetics no matter what platform you’re playing on.
To access your Apex Legends progress on different platforms, your platform account has to be linked to your EA account. Learn how to link your platform accounts to your EA Account.
Your Apex Legends progress is permanently tied to your EA Account. Your progress can’t be moved to a different EA Account after you’ve started playing.
If you’re new to Apex Legends, make sure you create an Apex Legends account with the EA Account you want to use and link your platform accounts to it. You’ll have access to Cross Progression as soon as you start playing.

If you’ve played Apex Legends before, here’s everything you need to know about how Cross Progression might’ve impacted your account.
If you had one Apex Legends account when we introduced Cross Progression, this account is your Cross Progression account. All your content will be on this account.
If you had more than one Apex Legends account linked to your EA Account when we introduced Cross Progression, your accounts were merged to create a single Cross Progression account.
The profile with the highest account level is now your Cross Progression account.
If your Apex Legends progress was spread across multiple EA Accounts, then your accounts weren’t merged. You can use Cross Progression on your separate EA Accounts, but the content from these accounts hasn’t been merged together.
You can’t move progress from one EA Account to another. Unlinking a platform from your EA Account and linking it to another one won’t move your progress.
Apex Legends accounts and EA Accounts can't be merged. Read more about account merging.
There are a few reasons your content might be missing after Cross Progression.
If you’ve lost game progress because of Cross Progression, learn more about missing progress. We can’t restore content that was lost during the merge or that hasn’t been merged.
