Overview

There are two ways to fix this error:
- Select Close in the EA anticheat pop-up message and restart the game.
- Download the EA Javelin anticheat installer again, uninstall the game you’re playing via the installer, and then reinstall the game manually.

DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools) is software that’s not permitted to run at the same time as a Javelin-protected game.To get back in the game, follow these steps.Here are some other alternative approved software we support:
- 1Fully uninstall ReWasd on your computer.
- Consult the manufacturer for uninstallation steps.
- 2Uninstall other software from DiscSoftLtd.
- This can be Daemon Tools, Rewasd, Catch!, Astroburn, or iSCSI.
- 3Make sure you don't have a DaemonTools or DiscSoft entry in the Windows Device Manager.
- This can appear as one or many devices named Daemon Tools. Look for the entries below, and right-click to uninstall them:

How do I troubleshoot crashes for EA games protected by Javelin?
If Javelin detects that you’re using outdated microcode, you might get a warning message linking to the troubleshooting steps below.
