Ringkasan

Franchise players improve and progress by earning XP through Weekly, Season, and Milestone Goals, as well as through individual plays. As players age or perform poorly, they can also lose ratings through regression. Here's how progression works, when regression happens, and where to track both throughout your Franchise.

How does player progression work in Franchise?

Franchise players progress by earning XP, which improves their attributes and overall rating. Earn XP by completing goals and performing well during games. Goals provide the largest XP rewards, while in-game actions add smaller amounts throughout every game.

How do I earn XP for my Franchise players?

Earn XP by:
  • completing Weekly Goals
  • completing Season Goals
  • completing Milestone Goals
  • performing well during games.
Your Franchise players also earn XP for individual plays. Depending on their position, actions that award XP can include:
  • completing passes
  • gaining first downs
  • earning passing or rushing yards
  • recording sacks
  • making tackles for loss
  • completing drive objectives.
Regularly completing Weekly Goals throughout the season is one of the fastest ways to develop young players because those goals award some of the largest XP bonuses.

Why are my Franchise players losing ratings?

Franchise players can lose ratings through regression. Regression gradually lowers player attributes over time. It can happen because of:
  • aging
  • poor performance
  • injuries.
Some regression can occur during the season, but most happens in the offseason.

How do I check my players' progression and regression?

You can track player development from an individual Player Card or your team's offseason Player Regression screen.

How can I plan for regression?

Regression is a part of Franchise and can't always be avoided, but you can build a roster that stays competitive over multiple seasons. Try these strategies.
  • Complete player goals consistently to maximize XP gains.
  • Develop younger players throughout the season.
  • Keep an eye on aging veterans who may experience larger offseason regression.
  • Review Player Regression during the offseason to identify positions that might need depth or future replacements.
