Build your NFL career

- Earn or keep a starting role by consistently performing well.
- After a run of poor performances, work to regain your position.
- Be traded or released as your career unfolds.
- Work your way back from the practice squad to earn another opportunity.
The NFL Combine is your first chance to influence your draft position. Your performance in drills, interviews, and other pre-draft activities determines where your Superstar is drafted and how your NFL career begins.Before entering the draft, keep these things in mind:Once you're drafted, you'll join your NFL team and begin your rookie season.
- Every drill matters. Perform well in every drill to improve your draft projection.
- Different Archetypes have different strengths. Some drills may suit your Superstar better than others.
- Interviews count too. Answer football questions correctly to improve your draft stock.
- Your starting point matters. If you begin with a different career starting point or import a Road to Glory player, your draft projection can already be influenced before the Combine begins.
How you perform on the field shapes your NFL career.Every game contributes to your Player Grade, which measures how well you perform at your position. Positions are graded differently, so what earns a high grade depends on your role and the game. The best way to improve your Player Grade is to play your position well.
- Quarterback: Complete passes, avoid unnecessary sacks, and make good decisions with the football.
- Halfback: Carry the ball, catch passes, and help move the offense down the field.
- Wide receiver / Tight end: Get open and make catches.
- Defense: Pressure the quarterback, break up passes, make tackles, and disrupt offensive plays.
Every matchup is different. Pay attention to what's happening before, during, and after each game to adjust your strategy, perform more consistently, and improve your Superstar.As you play, keep an eye on your Player Grade as well as your:After each drive and game, review your performance to see what you did well and where you can improve.Use this feedback to adjust your playstyle, plan future upgrades, and prepare for your next game.
- Objectives to track the goals you're working toward. Completing objectives earns rewards, but balancing them with helping your team win usually leads to the best results.
- Wear and Tear to monitor how physical contact affects your Superstar during the game. Fatigue and injuries can impact your Superstar's effectiveness, so changing your approach may help you finish stronger.
- Gameplay modifiers that introduce unique conditions or challenges for each matchup. Some games may reward different strategies or require you to adapt your playstyle as the game unfolds.
- Drive Summaries show how your actions affected your Player Grade during each drive.
- Post Game Reports recap your overall performance and highlight areas for improvement.

- Gameday Beats introduces weekly objectives, matchups, gameplay scenarios, and career moments based on your recent performances and decisions. Complete them to earn rewards and keep progressing.
- The G.O.A.T. Journey tracks your progress across the Skill, Legacy, and Popularity pillars as you work toward becoming one of football's all-time greats.

- Upgrade Skill Trees to improve your Superstar's attributes and unlock new ways to play.
- Unlock abilities that activate during the game and give your Superstar new advantages. Some abilities improve awareness, others make your player more effective in specific situations, and each position has its own unique set to discover.
- Earn Cap Breakers to improve key ratings beyond your archetype's normal limits. These rare rewards let you continue developing your Superstar long after reaching standard progression caps and can even unlock additional abilities.
