New Legend: Sparrow 

Time to take your shot, Legends. Sparrow is this Season’s new Apex Legend, and he brings aim, intelligence, and agility to the Ring. 

With a tracker dart that highlights his enemies and an ultimate that can wreak havoc on multiple targets at once with six consecutive energy blasts, Sparrow is perfect for bringing your competitive edge to the arena.

Bocek updates

The Bocek is back. Find it as floor loot, stocked with 40 arrows ready to fire. 

Arrows are fair game in the Ring. You can only find them on the floor or on deathboxes, but you can pick anybody’s arrows up—not just ones you fire. 

Want to create some real damage? Load up the Bocek with frag grenades to make explosive arrows.

Pathfinder buffs 

The Outlands’ favorite robot is swinging into action this Season. 

• Tactical change: Grapple Hook now has a variable cooldown depending on your grapple distance. You can also get a double tactical charge, but you’ll lose the variable cooldown.
• Double ultimate charge. 

Arenas is back

Arenas returns as a limited time mode with its own playlist. 

Play the original 3v3 mode with all Legends and weapons that have been released by Season 25. The first team to win the first three rounds will take the match. 

There’ll be twists coming later this Season to keep the adrenaline flowing, including Arenas: Duels, a 1v1 version of Arenas. 

Ranked updates 

There’s a new Ranked Ladder to climb which won’t pause regular Ranked progress. Instead, your regular Ranked matches will help you advance through the Leaderboard and compete for more rewards, including a new Ranked Dive Trail. 

Ranked resets are also changing this Season to help you match with players of a similar skill level.

• When Ranked resets, you’ll automatically be assigned a rank tier that closely matches your skill level based on your Ranked matchmaking rating (MMR). 
• If you’re new to Ranked, your public matches MMR will be used as your Ranked MMR to assign your rank tier.

Seasons are a set period of time when Apex Legends releases new content. Each Season has new content, including Battle Passes for each Split, game-balance changes, and cosmetic items. They can also introduce new features, map changes, weapons, and Legends.

How long is an Apex Legends Season?

A Season is about three months long and coincides with Ranked play.
