When you link your account, you can make sure your progress is always saved no matter where you’re playing. As an extra bonus for linking, you’ll get 100 gems.

PvZ 2 uses your iCloud account to save your progress across your Apple devices. Link your iCloud account, turn on automatic backup, and turn on your iCloud Drive to use this feature.

Make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud and using automatic backup:

Open Settings on your device.
Find the iCloud tab and tap it to expand the section.
You’ll see your email address at the top of the Account box if you’re signed in.
Just below the Account box, tap Storage and Backup.
Tap On to enable iCloud Backup.

To turn on iCloud Drive:

Open Settings on your device.
Tap the iCloud tab to expand the section.
You’ll see your email address at the top of the Account Box if you’re signed in.
Tap On to enable iCloud Drive.

PvZ 2 uses your Google account to sync game progress across your Android devices. Link your Google account in the game to turn on this feature.

How do I link to my Google account?

Launch PvZ 2.
Tap the Controller icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the main menu.
You’ll be asked to log in. Your account will then be linked.

Yep! Just link both devices with your iCloud or Google account.

Be careful. If anyone accidentally deletes PvZ on one of your devices, it’ll be lost on both.

Linking PvZ 2 to different iCloud or Google accounts syncs your game progress and profile data. This means that the new account will have permanent access to your profile and can risk accidental deletion of your game.

To avoid this, don’t link PvZ 2 to other iCloud or Google accounts on your devices. If you still want to link to other accounts, use Game Center or Facebook instead.

Keep in mind that once you unlink a platform account from your EA Account and link it to a new one, you can’t unlink it again for six months. Read this article to make sure unlinking is the best choice for you and that you understand the risks before you follow these steps:

Sign in to the EA Account settings portal.
Click on Connections.
Find the account you want to unlink, and click the Unlink button next to it.
Read the disclaimer and make sure you want to unlink.
Check the box next to I understand and wish to continue.
Click Unlink.
