Learn how to close your mobile game account and delete your mobile game data.

Delete your mobile account in-game

Deleting your mobile game account is permanent across all devices. We won’t be able to recover your in-game items or progress in any games linked to the account. It also means you won’t be able to recover your account on a different iOS or Android device.
Based on your mobile platform and the game you’re playing, you might be able to delete your account from within your game. To check if your game has this option:

    Go to Settings.

    Find the Delete Account option.
  3. 3
    Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
Deleting your mobile account doesn’t cancel any recurring subscription payments you have set up on it. If you have active subscriptions on your account, contact Apple or Google to cancel them.  
Our advisors can also help you delete your mobile account. Create an in-game ticket to get started. Go to your game app settings and look for the support button. The button name might be different depending on the game, but you’ll find it under the Settings menu. We may, where required, keep some data from your account:
  • to meet legal or regulatory requirements (like paying taxes or enforcing our terms)
  • to maintain the security and integrity of our systems
  • to ensure the rights and freedoms of others (including EA).
