The NHL® Auction House charges a 5% transaction fee that applies only when an item sells. It is non-refundable and unsold listings are not charged.

What is the NHL® Auction House fee?

In the NHL Auction House, you can acquire and sell items using Coins, which are earned in-game. When you make a successful sale at auction in NHL, you’ll pay a 5% transaction fee using Coins. The fee is non-refundable, and applies to all successful sales. You don’t pay a 5% fee if the sale wasn’t successful.

How do NHL Auction House fees work?

When you successfully sell an item, a 5% Auction House fee is taken from the final price. This means you’ll keep 95% of the total Coins from your sale. For example, say you sell an item for 1000 Coins, here is how the 5% fee would work:
  • Item sold for: 1000 Coins
  • Final Transaction Fee: 50 Coins (5% of 1000)
  • Coins added to the seller’s balance: 950 Coins

Why are fees charged on NHL® auctions?

All Auction House sales in NHL have a 5% transaction fee.The transaction fee helps to keep things fair by levelling out the prices of the best content in the Auction House. This makes the market more accessible for players of all levels.
