Learn how to keep yourself and other players safe in EA SPORTS NHL® by reporting inappropriate content, and how to mute or block other players.
How to report a Club name
If you notice a Club name that’s inappropriate or breaks the rules, here’s how to report it.- 1From the main NHL® menu, select Online and choose World of CHEL.
- 2Select Stats from the top bar menu, then Club Rank.
- 3Choose Global Rankings.
- 4Find and select the Club name you want to report. Then, select Report Content.
- 5Select Inappropriate Content and choose Submit.
How to report a player's Skater or Goalie name
If you notice a player with an inappropriate Skater or Goalie name, here’s how to report them.- 1From the main NHL® menu, select Online and choose World of CHEL.
- 2Select Stats from the top bar menu, then Player Stats.
- 3Find and select the Skater or Goalie name you want to report.
- 4Select Report Content.
- 5Choose the reason you’re reporting and select Submit.
What happens after reporting
Reporting a Club or player doesn’t mean they’ll automatically be banned from NHL. If you submit a report, we’ll investigate and take action according to our policies. For privacy reasons, we can’t give you information about our investigation or what actions we take on another player’s account.How to block and mute a player
If another player is bothering you or affecting your experience, but their behavior doesn’t break the rules, you can block and mute them instead.- 1From the main NHL® menu, select Online and choose World of CHEL.
- 2Select Stats from the top bar menu, then Player Stats.
- 3Find and select the player you want to block and mute.
- 4Select Block and Mute. On the next screen, confirm your choice by selecting Block and Mute again.
