If you break the rules, the actions applied to your EA Account may affect your experience on multiple gaming platforms and titles if you’re using the same EA Account.
If you break the rules, we reserve the right to apply some or several of the following actions as a first-time action:
Positive play is at the heart of EA, and we believe that being part of a gaming community should be positive, fun, and safe for all.
Coin selling and distribution inflates the College Football economy. That means disrupting the safe buying and selling environment that legitimate players are trying to use to get the players they need for their College Football Ultimate Team™.
Selling Coins can get your account banned.
Having multiple accounts and funneling Coins and Items to your main account breaks our rules, too.
Buying Coins from a third party is against our rules. If you buy Coins from a third party, you can get banned.
You can earn Coins by playing Ultimate Team and selling items in the Auction House, but you can’t purchase Coins.
Here are a few ways to earn Coins legitimately:
Buying Coins from third parties affects the player economy as the prices of items in the Auction House increase and become unaffordable. When Coin Buyers buy cheap items in the Auction House, they take away the opportunity to buy affordable items from players who earned their Coins legitimately.
If you buy Coins, you’re at risk for having your account information stolen by phishers. Coin Sellers need account login information to give out Coins, so they can remove your players and Coins, too. They’ll make a profit off of the items they steal and hack someone else.
Keep your account safe and don’t give your login information to anyone.
Buying “mule” accounts or performing comfort trades is also not allowed. These things are against our gameplay rules because they have a negative impact on the game economy, and they damage gameplay for you and other players. When in doubt, don’t do it.
You can only access College Football servers using an official version of the game. An official version is one that you bought from EA or from an authorized retailer. Using a modified version of any platform breaks our rules.
An unmodified platform is a console that works the way it did when it came out of the box from an authorized retailer.
If you share your credentials with someone who is using a modified platform, that breaks our rules too.
We recommend avoiding third-party apps and browser extensions as they can put your account at risk. When you use third-party apps and browser extensions, your login info can be visible to third parties.Someone could use that info to take over your account. For example, certain browser extensions can capture your passwords, track your web browsing, insert ads into web pages you visit, and more.
If you use any sort of in-game bots, automation, or tools like auto-buyers, that breaks the rules. Making transactions outside of the game or playing in any unauthorized way gives you an unfair advantage and negatively impacts the experience of other players.
Promoting the sale or purchase of Coins anywhere within our games or forums breaks our rules.
Coin farming is when you try to obtain Coins fast and illegitimately. This includes, for example, using bots in the Ultimate Team™ Auction House or tricking the game into thinking you’re playing matches when you aren’t.
You can store as many Coins in your account as you like, as long as you’re earning those Coins the right way in-game. Using any sort of bot or disconnection methods in-game is against our rules.
Making a false claim to EA Advisors or any other EA representative is against our rules.
Accessing another player’s account, including account sharing, is against the rules.
Cheating can include, but isn’t limited to, using external tools, performing in-game exploits, abusing glitches or bugs, performing, using, buying, or selling match collusion, matchmaking manipulation, or win manipulation services. Cheating, inside or outside the game, is not fair play and hurts the experience for the players you are playing against.
We want to help our players as efficiently as we can, so please only contact us with genuine challenges. If you think we made a mistake with a ban or suspension, contact us to dispute it.
