Overview

You can download Apex Legends from your platform’s store for free by searching for it, selecting it, then selecting Download, Install, or Get. Once you’ve downloaded it, you need to set up an EA Account to play.

Where can I download Apex Legends?

Apex Legends is free to download on PC, PlayStation®, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2. On PC, you can download it through the EA app, Steam, or the Epic Games store.

    If you haven’t already, download and install the EA app.

    Log in to your EA Account.

    Go to your Library.

    Find Apex Legends, then select the arrow in the bottom-right corner.

    Confirm your Install location and Language preferences, then select Next.

    Read and accept the terms of play.

    Select Download.
Steam

    Launch Steam.

    Search for Apex Legends.

    Select Play Game.

    Select Install.
If you want all your games in the same place, you can link your Steam account to your EA Account, or add non-Steam games to your Library Epic

How do I set up my EA Account?

You need an EA Account to play Apex Legends. 
Make sure you create your Apex Legends account with the EA Account you want to use. Your game progress is tied to your EA Account and can’t be moved.
