Cross-play lets you compete with friends and other players from other platforms in specific online multiplayer modes.For example, if you’re playing EA SPORTS™ College Football 26 on a PlayStation®5, turning on cross-play lets you compete with friends playing the game on Xbox Series X|S.What game modes support cross-play?
You can compete with other players using cross-play in these online EA SPORTS™ College Football 26 modes.- Dynasty (Online)
- Road to the College Football Playoffs
- College Football Ultimate Team
- Play a Friend
If you’re playing EA SPORTS™ College Football 25, you won’t be able to use cross-play in Dynasty mode.
How to turn cross-play on in EA SPORTS™ College Football 26
Cross-play should be turned on by default when you launch the game for the first time. Here’s how to check your cross-play settings:- 1Go to the main menu and select the Settings tab.
- 2Select Game Settings.
- 3Scroll through the tabs and choose Cross-Play.
- 4If you want to use cross-play, make sure it’s toggled to On. You can also turn cross-play off from here.
If you’re playing EA SPORTS™ College Football 26 on Xbox Series X|S, you may need to change your cross-play settings from your system settings and not the in-game menu.

How to add friends in EA SPORTS™ College Football 26
- 1Go to the main EA SPORTS™ College Football 26 menu.
- 2Select the EA connect icon from the bottom right of the screen.
- 3Search for your friend using their EA ID, Xbox Live gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID (PSN ID).
- 4Select Add friend. When they accept your friend request, you can play with them in any cross-play supported game mode.
