What is cross-play?
Madden NFL 25 has a cross-play feature that lets you compete with friends and other players from other platforms in specific online multiplayer modes.For example, if you’re playing Madden NFL 25 on a PlayStation®5, turning on cross-play lets you compete with friends playing Madden NFL 25 on Xbox Series X|S.Cross-play is available in Madden NFL 25 on these platforms.

How to turn on cross-play in Madden NFL 25
Cross-play should be turned on by default when you launch Madden NFL 25 for the first time. Here’s how to check your cross-play settings:- 1Go to the main menu and select the Settings tab.
- 2Scroll through the tabs and choose Cross-Play.
- 3If you want to use cross-play, make sure it’s toggled to On. You can also turn cross-play off from here.
If you’re playing Madden NFL 25 on Xbox Series X|S, you may need to change your cross-play settings from your system settings instead of the in-game menu.

How to play Madden NFL 25 with friends on other platforms
- 1Open the EA Connect menu on the bottom-right side of the main menu screen in Madden NFL 25.
- 2Search for your friend using their EA ID, Xbox Live gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID (PSN ID).
- 3Select Add friend. When they accept your friend request, you can play with them in any cross-play supported Madden NFL 25 mode.
