The EA app is a platform that lets you find and play EA games on your computer. For more info on the EA app, head over to the EA app page.

Did you move from Origin to the EA app? All your games and other content will automatically transfer over.
You can head over to the Download Manager to see the status of your download.
After you finish downloading a game, you’ll find it under Installed games.
Didn’t find the game you want? Double-check that you’re spelling the title of the game correctly and try again.

You can find all the games you bought in My Library.
You can redeem product codes to get games, in-game content, and EA Play memberships.
If you have a product code, redeem it from My Library. If you have a promotional code for a discount on your purchase, you can redeem it during checkout when you buy a game. Here's more info on how to redeem product and promo codes.
Check out how to add friends or import them from other platform accounts using the Find Friends button from the menu under your EA ID. Drag your cursor over to the blank space between your avatar and the console icons to pull up the menu.
Once a friend accepts your request, their name will appear on the Friends tab below your avatar.
To chat with a friend, click on a friend’s name for the chatbox to appear.
If you get a friend request, you’ll find them under Friend requests right below your avatar.

You’ll find Settings in the menu icon (three stacked lines) at the top corner. Use it to edit your account details, change language preferences, track playtime, manage how you receive notifications, and more.
You can access the My Account page via the EA app to edit your name, email address, EA ID, password, and more.

Family playtime
Got a teen in the family? Track their playtime through the EA app.
Open Settings and select Family Playtime. Here you can add teen accounts, track playtime, and set spending limits.

To see the EA app in the language you want, go to the Settings panel from the menu icon (three stacked lines). Open Application Settings and then use these steps to change language settings in the EA app.

If you have trouble reading the text, use the Zoom in and Zoom out options to improve your view.
Set a nickname by selecting My profile from the menu. To bring up this menu, drag your cursor over to the blank space between your avatar and the console icons.

To change your status, choose any option from Online, Away, and Invisible on this menu.
Have questions about an issue related to a game or the app? Go to Help and select Visit Answers HQ to get help from other players.
If you need to share diagnostic information with us, use the EA Error reporter.
If you need to restart the app, select Restart app.
If you can’t find games in your Library or your games aren’t downloading, try clearing cache using App Recovery to fix the problem.
Click Sign out from the menu icon (three stacked lines) to log out from your EA Account.
A pop-up will appear where you can sign in with a different EA Account or link to a platform account.

Try restarting the application and close all apps running in the background. If that doesn’t work, restart your computer.
