Using the app authenticator for Login Verification is the most secure way to protect your account.
Follow this video guide to learn how you can turn on Login Verification or follow the steps in this article.
Try resending the code. If that doesn’t work, make sure:
Tip: Keep your email address up to date so you can always get your codes.
If you’re still not getting your codes, look for a past email from ea@e.ea.com and allow images to be displayed. Then, resend the verification email.
If the platform you play on isn’t linked, you probably have more than one EA Account, and the EA Account you’re playing from doesn’t have Login Verification turned on. Here’s how to fix it.
If you can’t access or remember the email address you used to make your EA Account, try these account recovery steps.
When you use the app authenticator, you’ll get a code from the Google Authenticator app whenever you need it.
Now when we ask you for a Login Verification code, you can open the app and enter the 6-digit code that appears.
Remember: Each code lasts for a limited time. If the timer on the code is about to run out, wait for a new code so you have enough time to enter it.
Make sure you can always access your account by having more than one Login Verification method. We can send you codes by email, text, or the app authenticator. You may only be able to use some of the options, depending on where you live.
If you lose your phone, the authenticator app fails, or you can’t access your email address, backup codes are the only way to sign into your EA Account from a new device.
You can view and renew these codes in your EA Account Security settings. Go to Backup Codes and select View to find them.
Write your backup codes down and keep them in a safe place so you’ll always be able to log in when you need to.
