Team of the Year is one of the biggest events in EA SPORTS FC™ Ultimate Team™. It celebrates the top-performing players from the previous calendar year with special Player Items.During Team of the Year, you’ll see special campaigns, fan-favorite Player Items with upgraded stats, and rewards across Ultimate Team™.For a full breakdown of everything happening this year, head to EA.com:

What comes with the Team of the Year Edition?

The EA SPORTS FC™ 26 Team of the Year Edition includes:
  • 5,000 Season Points.
  • Gold Team of the Year Nominees Starting XI Pack (untradeable).
    •  Includes 11 Player Items (Men’s and Women’s) rated 82 OVR or higher:
      • 1 Goakeeper
      • 4 Defenders
      • 3 Midfielders
      • 3 Attackers.
  • Three 1 of 5 Player Picks rated up to 88 OVR from last year’s FC 26 Ultimate Team campaigns, up to and inclusive of Winter Wildcards:
    • 1 Defender
    • 1 Midfielder
    • 1 Attacker.

Items will appear in Ultimate Team™ on a rolling basis across these dates.Player Items:
  • Attackers: January 16-18, 2026
  • Midfielders: January 18-20, 2026
  • Defenders and Goalkeeper: January 20-22, 2026
All items across Team of the Year: 
  • TOTY Icons Team 1: January 16-20, 2026
  • TOTY Icons Team 2: January 20-23, 2026
  • Full TOTY XI: January 22-30, 2026
  • TOTY Honourable Mentions and 12th Players: January 23-30, 2026
Team of the Year items include:
  • Men’s Final XI
  • Women’s Final XI
  • Men’s Captain of the Year
  • Women’s Captain of the Year
  • Men’s 12th Player
  • Women’s 12th Player
  • Men’s Honourable Mentions
  • Women’s Honourable Mentions
  • TOTY Icons

Where’s my Team of the Year Honourable Mention Hero Player Item?

To get a Team of the Year Honourable Mention Hero, you need to:

    Log in to Ultimate Team™ in EA SPORTS FC™ 26 on a supported platform between January 13, 2026 at 18:00 UTC and February 16, 2026 at 17:59 UTC*.

    Have not already received a Classic XI Hero that upgraded to a TOTY Honourable Mention Hero.
  3. 3
    Have an EA Account.
    • Limited to one Team of the Year Honourable Mention Hero per EA Account.
    • If you don’t have an EA Account, find out how to create one.  
Logging in through EA SPORTS FC™ Showcase, the Companion App, the Web App, or any trials (including the EA Play Trial) doesn’t count eligibility towards the TOTY Honourable Mention Hero. You have to log in to Ultimate Team™ on your supported platform.
