How to upgrade to EA Play Pro on PC

EA Play Pro is our premium membership tier for EA Play on PC, available only through the EA app.

If you upgrade to EA Play Pro through the EA app, you’ll get all the benefits of EA Play plus these extra perks.

• Unlimited access to a library of premium edition EA games and fan-favorite series.
• In-game member rewards.
• Early access to select new games.

You can choose between an EA Play or EA Play Pro membership when you join through the EA app only. If you choose an EA Play membership when signing up but want to unlock even more benefits, you can upgrade to EA Play Pro.

1. Go to your EA Account and sign in using the EA Account details you used to join EA Play.
2. Select the Subscriptions and Memberships tab and choose EA Play.
3. In the Your membership section, select Manage membership.
4. On the new browser page that opens, choose Change Membership.
5. Select Switch to EA Play Pro and choose from a monthly or yearly payment plan.
6. Select Confirm Change.

When the payment for your EA Play Pro upgrade goes through, we’ll refund you for any time left on your EA Play membership. That refund will go back to your original payment method.

How to downgrade from EA Play Pro to EA Play on PC

If you have an EA Play Pro on PC membership through the EA app but want to downgrade to EA Play, follow these steps.

1. Go to your EA Account and sign in using the EA Account details you used to join EA Play.
2. Select the Subscriptions and Memberships tab and choose EA Play.
3. In the Your membership section, select Manage membership.
4. On the new browser page that opens, choose Change Membership.
5. Select Switch to EA Play and choose from a monthly or yearly payment plan.
6. Select Confirm Change.

Once you’ve confirmed, you can continue enjoying the benefits of your EA Play Pro membership until the end of your current billing cycle.

When you upgrade from EA Play to EA Play Pro using the EA app, you won’t lose any games you’ve downloaded or installed. Your progress in these games isn’t affected, and you can pick up where you left off.

Heads-up: if you downgrade from EA Play Pro to EA Play, access to games you played using a Pro membership may be affected.

• Some games you played with an EA Play Pro membership may not be included in an EA Play membership. This could include some of our most recently released games, and occasionally other games.
• Once you downgrade to EA Play, game editions in The Play List might be different from the game editions you played using your EA Play Pro membership. You may not have access to all of the same DLC and content.

EA Play Pro members get access to select new releases. If your game is a new release, it may not be included in your membership.

However, if you pre-ordered one of our games using the EA app that you’ll now have access to with your upgraded EA Play Pro membership, you can cancel your pre-order.

1. Go to your EA Account and sign in using the EA Account details you used to join EA Play.
2. From the options on the left, choose the Order History tab.
3. Find the game you pre-ordered and expand the order details by selecting the + plus sign.
4. Under the Pre Order heading, select Cancel.
