How to claim Twitch Drops

Twitch Drops let you earn in-game rewards by watching eligible Twitch streams. Learn how to link your Twitch account to your EA Account, claim Twitch Drops, and find missing rewards if they don't appear in your game.

How do I link my Twitch account to my EA Account?

Before you can claim Twitch Drops for an EA game, you have to link your Twitch account to your EA Account. Make sure you’re linking the same EA Account you use to play that game.

    Log in to your EA Account.

    Go to Connected Accounts.
  3. 3
    Select Twitch. 
  4. 4
    Select Continue to sign in to your Twitch account and complete the steps to link your account.

Make sure you're linking the EA Account that you use to play the game. Rewards sent to a different EA Account can't be transferred. If you're not sure which EA Account is linked, or you need help managing linked accounts, see our account linking guide.

How do I claim Twitch Drops?

Make sure you’ve linked the right Twitch account to your EA Account and that you followed Twitch’s steps for claiming Drops.

    Sign in to Twitch.

    Watch an eligible stream with Twitch Drops enabled for the required amount of time.

    Select your profile picture, then go to Drops & Rewards.
  4. 4
    Check your progress and select Claim when the reward is available.
  5. 5
    Launch your game to find your reward.
Some rewards may take up to 24 hours to appear in-game after you claim them.

If you've claimed a Twitch Drop but can't find your reward, try the following:
  • confirm that your Twitch account is linked to the correct EA Account
  • check that you claimed the reward from Drops & Rewards on Twitch
  • make sure you're signed in to the same account in-game that you linked to Twitch
  • restart your game and platform.
If you still can’t find your rewards, check that you met the criteria for the Twitch Drop. Some streams may enter you in a draw for a Drop, but that doesn’t guarantee you’ll get rewards.

You can switch your linked accounts up to 3 times in a rolling year, but choosing the right account from the start is still the safest way to keep your account secure. Always link to an account you'll keep long-term to preserve your progress and purchases.
