To start playing Skate, you need to create your skater. You can do this in the Skater menu (the skateboard and pencil icon).You can change things like your Apparel, Accessories, and Board here, along with your skater’s Appearance. You can make changes at any time.What are the best skate. settings?

This error can happen when your console account isn’t linked to the EA Account you used during a Playtest signup.You can see what platforms you’re connected to on the Connections page of your EA Account. Make sure you check which EA Account you’re signed in to.
This error can happen when there are issues with cross-play. Try these steps to see if they help. If you’re still having trouble, check if there are any alerts on EA Help’s Skate page to make sure there are no live issues.
- Make sure you and everyone you want to play with has the latest Skate update.
- Make sure everyone you want to play with has joined the same server.
- Restart the game.
- Turn cross-play off, then on again.
- Check that your EA Account is linked to your platform account.
If you’re having trouble using your controller, try:
- unplugging your PC keyboard
- unplugging other PC accessories, like numberpads or USBs
- quitting and restarting the game.
- When you open Skate again, make sure your controller is plugged in and everything else is unplugged.
