Apex Legends supports cross-play on all platforms: the EA app, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch™. Cross-play is turned on automatically, and you can use it to play Apex Legends with friends on other platforms.

1. Go to the Friends menu.
2. Click Find Friend.
3. Type in their EA Public ID. You can also go to your Privacy Settings and change how players can search for you by going to Allow users to search for me by and checking any of the below options:
   • Email address
   • PSN™ Online ID for PlayStation 4 and 5
   • Xbox Live® gamertag for Xbox One and X|S
   • Nintendo Nickname for Nintendo Switch™.

Your friend will get an invite to accept, reject, or block your request. Once they accept, you can play together.

The Friends menu also shows if your friends are playing on PC or console–based on the icon next to their name.

You can’t turn cross-play off if you play on PC. To turn off cross-play on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch™:

1. Go to the lobby.
2. Select the cogwheel (Game Menu) in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings.
4. Scroll down to Cross Platform Play.
5. Select Disabled to turn it off. If you want to turn cross-play back on, select Enabled.

Apex Legends supports Cross Progression, which means you can share your game progress across different platforms.
