What is the Maker Program?

Makers are approved content creators for The Sims 4 Marketplace. Through The Sims Maker Program, Makers can publish their content directly in-game and earn from their work.All created content is:
  • reviewed to make sure it meets quality standards
  • malware-free and 100% safe to download
  • easy to install
  • ensured to meet The Sims 4 game rating
  • supported on all 18 languages on PC and Mac

The Maker Program is different from The Sims Creator Program and the EA Creator Network. These give Sims creators benefits, resources, and early access to content as they cover it on their platforms. The Sims Maker Program is for specialists who want to create, share, and earn revenue from the content they create while using official tools and resources from The Sims Team. 

How do I apply to be a Maker? 

To apply for the Maker Program, you’ll need to meet the following criteria. 
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Not reside in an EA-embargoed region.
  • Be proficient in English (communication will be in English).
  • Have an EA account in good standing with EA’s User Agreement
  • Successfully complete a technical evaluation by submitting two assets for review.
