How to cancel an EA Play membership

If you joined EA Play through Steam, Epic, PlayStation®, or Xbox, you’ll need to contact their support team directly if you have issues when canceling your membership.

Things to note before canceling EA Play

When you cancel, you’ll have access to all membership features until the end of your membership period. When your membership period ends, you’ll no longer have access to games in The Play List.
If your membership expires or you cancel it, you won’t be able to play games included in your membership unless you buy them separately or rejoin EA Play.
You'll keep your game progress if you don’t manually delete your save files. If you rejoin EA Play after canceling or buy the games separately, you can pick up where you left off the next time you play.
If you cancel your membership or it expires, any purchases you made with your 10% member discount are yours to keep.

How to cancel EA Play on PC

If you have an EA Play or EA Play Pro membership that you use on PC through the EA app, you can cancel from your EA Account.

Go to your EA Account and sign in using the EA Account details you used to join EA Play.

Select the Subscriptions and Memberships tab.

In the Your membership section, select Cancel membership.

On the new browser page that opens, select Cancel membership.

Things to note about canceling EA Play on the EA app

If you cancel before your membership period ends, you can continue to use your EA Play membership until your Next billing date. Your next billing date is listed under Billing information in the EA Play tab of your EA Account.
Some games may remain in your Library until your membership expiration date. Here’s how to manually remove games from your Library.
Your payment method for EA Play won’t be removed until your Next billing date. You have the option to reverse the cancelation until then.
To rejoin EA Play, go to the EA Play website and select Join Now.

How to cancel EA Play on console

Sign in to your PlayStation® account.

Select Subscription.

Select Turn Off Auto-Renew next to your EA Play membership.
If you want to end your EA Play membership immediately, you can contact PlayStation® Support and ask them to cancel it.

Are EA Play memberships refundable?

EA Play memberships are not refundable. There are some exceptions to this that allow us to offer refunds under certain circumstances. How to remove games from the EA app Library after canceling

If you cancel EA Play on PC before your membership period ends, you can continue to use EA Play until your membership expires.Some games included in your EA Play membership may remain in your EA App Library until your next billing date. Learn how to check your next billing date to find out when your membership ends. To remove a game from your Library manually:

Launch the EA app.

Go to the Library and choose the game you want to uninstall.

Select Manage.

Choose Uninstall from the dropdown options.

If prompted, select Yes to confirm that you want to uninstall the game.

If you canceled EA Play on PlayStation® or Xbox but games remain in your console library, you may need to contact their support teams directly.
