The players, abilities, and chemistries you choose all affect how your team performs on the pitch. As you improve your roster, think about how your players work together and how their strengths complement one another. You can create a team that supports the way you want to play by adjusting your lineup, equipping abilities, and building around chemistry bonuses.
Lineup Management: choose which players take the field and organize your roster to fit your preferred strategy.
Playbooks: select a playbook that complements your lineup. Different playbooks support different offensive and defensive strategies.
Abilities: Abilities can enhance player performance and help support different playstyles.
Chemistries: Chemistries provide bonuses that can help your team perform better on the field. Experimenting with different Chemistry combinations can help you build around your preferred playstyle and create stronger connections across your roster.

Attribute caps
Skill Points (SP) are used to upgrade eligible player items. You can use Skill Points to unlock and improve different upgrade options, including:
Dynamic Upgrade Paths
Attribute Upgrade Paths
Ability Slots
Chemistry Slots.
You can earn Skill Points by:
completing item Objectives
exchanging eligible tokens or items
purchasing them with other in-game currencies.
Some player items have a maximum Skill Point limit. Once an item reaches its Skill Point cap, you won't be able to earn more Skill Points for that item unless the cap is increased. Some upgradable player items use other currencies, such as Coins or Training, for Chemistry or Ability upgrades instead of Skill Points.
Archetypes help define a player's strengths and development path. Think of an Archetype as a player’s specialty. Each Archetype focuses on different attributes or strengths based on a specific playstyle. As players earn upgrades, their ratings can improve in different ways depending on the Archetype they've chosen. Choose an Archetype that matches how you want your player to perform on your team.
OVR caps show how far a player item can develop through upgrades. They determine the maximum overall rating a player can reach through upgrades. Checking a player's OVR cap can help you decide whether to keep investing Skill Points in that item or develop a different player. Once a player item reaches its OVR cap, it can't earn additional progression on that path unless the cap is increased.
If you want to explore a different build, you can respec the player item and recover the Skill Points you've spent.
Attribute caps determine how far specific player attributes can be upgraded. Attribute caps can vary between Dynamic Upgrade Paths, which means similar player items may develop differently over time. Once an attribute reaches its cap, it can no longer be increased through that path.
