How to create, join, and manage leagues in EA SPORTS NHL® 27 Connected Franchise

Overview

You can create or join a league in NHL 27’s Connected Franchise mode under the Create New League tab in Connected Franchise. Follow these steps to find or start a league, manage invites, and share your league’s unique code.

How do I create a league?

    Select Create New League under Connected Franchise.

    Choose the roster you want to use: 
    • EA Roster uses live updates from the NHL
    • Custom Roster lets you use a roster you’ve created. 
    • roster sharing lets you use a roster another player has uploaded.

    Enter a name and description for your league. 
  4. 4
    Choose your League Settings, like:
    • the number of teams in your league 
    • your schedule and playoff format
    • salary caps.

    Under Team Select, choose which teams can be used in your league. 
  6. 6
    Select Create League on the overview screen to finish.

How do I invite a friend to my league?

After you’ve created your first league, you’ll get the option to invite friends.

    Select Invite Now to invite friends.

    Select friends to invite them. 
    • Your friends list is based on your EA Friends.
When you’ve sent a friend an invite, you’ll see Invite Sent next to their name.

How do I join a league?

    Select Create New League under Connected Franchise. 
  2. 2
    Under Input Code League, enter your chosen league’s code. 
  3. 3
    Choose Select Team To Play As. 
    • This will only appear if your league code is valid.

    Choose the team you want to play as. 
  5. 5
    Select Join League. 
  6. 6
    A join request will be sent to the league creator. If they accept, you’ll join the league. 
You can be in up to five leagues.
